Episode 26: Do I Need an NDA?

As authors, we pour our heart and soul into our stories. The last thing we want is for someone to steal our work. But how can we protect ourselves? Should we have readers sign an NDA before sending a copy over? The short answer is no and today, we are diving into why you don’t need an NDA.

The journey to publishing your book can be long and confusing. Add in the fear of someone stealing your work, and it can get overwhelming trying to figure out what you do and do not need to do to protect your work. In this episode, I am sharing what an NDA is, why you do not need an NDA, how to protect your work, and what to do if someone’s work seems similar to yours.
